Richard worked at Hewlett Packard as an engineer for thirty years before retiring. Aside from being an incredible husband, father, brother and friend, Richard’s other passions included carpentry, camping, wildlife conservation and fly fishing on the trout streams of Idaho. He was a connoisseur of classic rock-and-roll and loved telling a good story over a shared bottomless bottle of wine. He shared a birthday with his sister, Carol who was four years younger. While growing up in Boise and attending Boise schools, he worked for his father at the meat market. Upon graduating from Boise High and Boise State College, Dick worked at First Security Bank where he went on to hold a position as Bank Manager.

Richard and Diane married August 21, 1992 and lived in Boise until October of 2008 at which time they moved to Gibbonsville, Idaho where he lived with his wife of 30 years, his 20 chickens and his dog, Tucker. He was preceded in death by his dad, Clyde and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Dawn passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 in a local care facility. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, Boise. Her cremated remains will be inurned next to her husband Melvin, in Omaha Nebraska.

Ken and Jo had been married for over 70 years at the time of her death. Both Jo and their daughter Kelli loved animals, especially working with their horses. Ken supported Jo in her Woodworking projects and Clock Shoppe, and was involved in PTA, and assisted with Girl Scouts as needed for Kelli.

David was born August 9, 1958, the oldest of 13 kids, to Bob and Bonnie Brooks in Eagle Idaho. He was raised in Garden City then Star Idaho where he enjoyed riding horses, working on cars, and adventures with his younger brothers. David graduated from Meridian High School in 1976. He met the love of his life, Linda Bangs, and they married September 9, 1977. David was glad to become the Dad to Danielle and Angela. He was a hard worker driving truck most of his career.

He would often say, “ I might be old, but my mind is always young.” He got up in the morning with a smile on his face and went to bed with one. He always tried to find a way to make others laugh. His lifelong hobby were trains and model railroading which started at an early age with a train his grandfather had given him one year for Christmas. Chuck was a storyteller and enjoyed interacting with everyone in the community, especially his clients, which he cared so much for. Dan did not have kids, but he loved his nephews and nieces dearly. They remember Dan as the most loving and funny uncle there ever was.

Mel and Dawn moved back to Omaha where she worked as a dental assistant for several dentists over her career.

She will always be his “Maddie Bear with the beautiful hair”. While in the Army Darren’s mother became ill with cancer and passed away. This affected him deeply but the Lord used this sorrow to help lead Darren back to repentance. He came back to Jesus and lived for the Lord the rest of his life. Darren would tell all that receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost was the greatest thing that ever happened to him.
